We are pleased to be able announce that Dr. Friederike Jesse has agreed to be a Keynote Speaker at the 6th Sudan Studies Research Conference at LMU.
Dr. Friederike Jesse is from the University of Cologne, Institute of Prehistoric Archaeology, African Archaeology. Her research focuses on African Archaeology, especially Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa, pottery in all its facets (e.g. decoration, technological aspects, earliest appearance), forts, trade, traffic routes and mobility.
